I'm working with a highly respected luxury interior design studio that is looking to welcome a Senior Interior Designer to its talented and collaborative team.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead beautifully bespoke ultra-high-end residential projects from concept through to completion.
You'll take ownership of projects, work closely with the Studio Directors and play a key role in shaping the studio's creative direction while mentoring the next generation of designers.
Working on some truly exceptional private residences, you'll have the opportunity to deliver outstanding interiors where creativity and attention to detail are at the heart of every project.
The Role
As a Senior Interior Designer, you'll lead projects through every stage of the design process, balancing creativity with technical delivery and client management.
Responsibilities
- Leading luxury residential projects from concept through to completion.
- Supporting the delivery of larger, prestigious schemes alongside the Studio Directors.
- Designing bespoke FF&E schemes, custom joinery and highly detailed design packages.
- Presenting design concepts confidently to clients and leading project presentations.
- Managing project programmes, budgets and key design milestones.
- Reviewing FF&E schedules, furniture layouts and technical packages before issue.
- Coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors and suppliers throughout each project.
- Inspiring the wider team with fresh ideas and sourcing exceptional furniture, lighting, art and accessories.
- Mentoring junior designers, providing guidance across both creative and technical aspects of projects.
- Attending supplier meetings, trade fairs and industry events to stay ahead of emerging design trends.
Requirements
- 5-6+ years' experience within luxury residential interior design.
- Degree qualified in Interior Design or a related discipline.
- Proven experience delivering high-end residential projects with confidence and minimal supervision.
- Strong background in bespoke joinery design and FF&E specification.
- Excellent project management and commercial awareness.
- Confident presenting to clients and leading design meetings.
- Previous experience mentoring or managing junior designers.
- Proficient in Auto CAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Passionate about exceptional design, with a meticulous eye for detail and a collaborative mindset.
