A beautiful, visionary New York City design studio has recently expanded to London and they are now looking for an Intermediate Interior Designer to join the growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on bespoke, high-end residential projects, contributing to the sourcing and curation of exceptional furniture, finishes, and antiques that bring each home to life. You will play an integral role in the development of the London studio, collaborating closely with senior team members and the New York office to maintain the studio’s signature level of creativity, quality, and attention to detail.
Working closely with both the Senior FF&E Designer and Senior Project Manager, this role offers broad involvement across FF&E design, technical detailing, presentations, procurement, and overall project coordination.

Responsibilities:
- Support all aspects of interior design development across high-end residential projects
- Assist with FF&E sourcing, including bespoke furniture, antiques, finishes, lighting, and decorative elements
- Develop finishes palettes, mood boards, and client presentation decks
- Draft floor plans, elevations, and technical drawings that accurately capture design intent
- Produce high-quality AutoCAD drawing packages and assist with technical documentation
- Create detailed 3D renderings in SketchUp or similar rendering software
- Assist in joinery design development and architectural finish selections
- Source materials and coordinate samples for client presentations and project approvals
- Support procurement activities, order tracking, and coordination with vendors and suppliers
- Review shop drawings and assist with custom furniture fabrication processes
- Participate in site visits and support communication with contractors and vendors
- Maintain organised project documentation, schedules, and specifications
- Collaborate closely with both the London and New York teams to ensure design consistency and quality
Requirements:
- 4–6 years’ experience within residential interior design, ideally in high-end or bespoke projects
- Strong FF&E knowledge with an appreciation for antiques, craftsmanship, and curated interiors
- Experience supporting senior designers and project managers across multiple project stages
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and highly skilled in SketchUp or other 3D rendering software
- Ability to draft floor plans, elevations, and technical detailing confidently
- Understanding of joinery design, architectural finishes, and material sourcing
- Experience with procurement processes and ideally familiarity with Studio Designer
- Some on-site experience and confidence communicating with vendors and contractors
- Strong organisational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Proactive, collaborative, and eager to grow within a fast-paced international studio
