True are partnering with a growing mechanical contractor specialising in new build residential developments, delivering full mechanical packages across housing schemes and apartment blocks throughout the South and Home Counties. With several live schemes underway and further projects secured, they are now looking to appoint a Mechanical Project Manager to strengthen delivery across multiple sites.

As Mechanical Project Manager, you will oversee 2-3 concurrent residential projects with a combined value of circa £3-4m. Taking schemes from handover through to completion, you will manage full mechanical installations including pipework, ventilation, air conditioning and sprinkler systems, ensuring programmes, quality and H&S standards are met across all sites. The role offers a hybrid split between site, office and home, with projects currently based around Luton, Welling, Wickham and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of mechanical packages on new build residential schemes
  • Manage 2-3 live projects concurrently across housing and apartment developments
  • Oversee subcontractors, labour, materials and site programmes
  • Ensure compliance with H&S, RAMS, quality standards and specifications
  • Coordinate site teams and internal stakeholders through to completion
  • Maintain clear reporting and control of programme and delivery milestones

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager within residential new build
  • Strong mechanical background with pipework experience essential
  • Experience with sprinklers, ventilation and air conditioning highly beneficial
  • Comfortable managing multiple projects and fast-moving programmes
  • Well organised, proactive and client/site team focused
