Commercial Tyre Technician – Gateshead
Location: Gateshead, England, United Kingdom
Salary: £33,200 per annum (OTE £38,000 with bonus and call outs depending on experience & qualifications)
Job type: Permanent, Full Time, 44 hours per week
Key Responsibilities
- Fit and maintain tyres for commercial vehicle fleets, including roadside breakdowns and on-site service.
- Carry out fleet inspections and service work.
- Complete company documentation and electronic job sheets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.
- Manage stock effectively.
- Work collaboratively with depot colleagues to support customers.
- Participate in on-call rota and flexible working patterns as required.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Commercial Tyre Technician or similar role.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong commitment to health and safety.
