Upon joining our Ipswich based team and becoming a Commercial Tyre Technician, you\’ll be provided with uniform and a fully equipped company van, stocked with everything you need to excel in your role. Whether it\’s fleet inspections, tyre repairs, replacements, or emergency callouts on both trucks and vans, you\’ll have the flexibility to manage and schedule your daily tasks around your assigned portfolio of customers. Tructyre\’s mission is to eliminate tyre-related risks for Britain\’s fleet of trucks, trailers, buses, and coaches. We do this by quickly fitting tyres, proactively preventing issues to enhance uptime and save money, and stepping in with urgent solutions when needed. De-risking isn\’t just about tyres; it\’s about making fleet management safer and more efficient, ensuring that tyres are one less worry for operators. We de-risk Britain\’s fleets, keeping customers operational and cost-effective.
Key Responsibilities as a Commercial Tyre Technician:
- Fit and maintain tyres for commercial vehicle fleets, including roadside breakdowns and on-site service.
- Carry out fleet inspections and service work.
- Complete company documentation and electronic job sheets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety standards.
- Manage stock effectively.
- Work collaboratively with depot colleagues to support customers.
- Participate in on-call rota and flexible working patterns as required.
