Truckman and ARB UK are leading suppliers of pickup truck accessories and 4x4 equipment, serving both trade and retail customers across the UK. We’re looking for an eCommerce Executive to support the day-to-day running and optimisation of our two online brands, Truckman and ARB UK. This role will play a key part in ensuring both websites are trading effectively, products are well presented, and customers have a smooth online experience. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop their career in eCommerce, working across two growing brands with a varied product range and busy trading environment, with scope to grow into a more senior eCommerce or trading role over time.
The job:
- Manage day-to-day website operations across Truckman and ARB UK
- Upload and maintain product listings, ensuring accurate pricing, descriptions, and imagery
- Support the execution of promotions, campaigns, and seasonal offers
- Work with internal and external teams (developers, designers, agencies) to implement website updates and improvements
- Monitor website performance, identifying issues and opportunities to improve conversion
- Take ownership of key areas of site performance and contribute ideas to improve trading and conversion
- Support trading activity, including analysing performance and suggesting improvements to drive revenue
- Assist with merchandising, including category management and on-site search optimisation
- Carry out regular site checks to ensure everything is functioning correctly (products, checkout, navigation)
- Support with content updates, blogs, landing pages, and campaign pages
- Help manage customer journey improvements across both sites
- Support customer service activity via Gorgias, assisting with queries across email and live chat where required
- Work closely with the customer service team to ensure a smooth end-to-end customer experience
- Assist with order processing, issue resolution, and general customer enquiries during busy periods
- Use and support internal ERP systems for order management, stock control, and data accuracy
What sort of person are we looking for?
- Previous experience in an eCommerce or digital role
- Familiarity with platforms such as Magento / Adobe Commerce (or similar)
- Experience with email marketing tools (e.g. Mailchimp)
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good understanding of online merchandising and customer experience
- Comfortable working with data and identifying trends
- Basic understanding of SEO principles
- Experience with analytics tools such as Google Analytics (GA4)
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across teams
- Experience with Meta and Google Ads
- Basic HTML knowledge
- Experience using customer service platforms such as Gorgias (or similar)
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Understanding of order workflows, stock management, and fulfilment processes
