Job Description Job Title: HGV Technician / LGV Technician / Mechanic / Fitter \n Location: Leicester, LE8 6LH - Fully onsite, no travel required \n Salary: £40,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications \n Job Type: Permanent, Full Time - Monday - Friday, 07:00 - 17:00. No weekend or bank holiday working. \n About us: \n Truck Doctor has been servicing and repairing a wide range of large commercial vehicles for over 10 years, working out of our independent commercial garage in Whetstone, Leicester. n Our team works across all makes and models of commercial vehicles, carrying out DVSA 6-8 weekly inspections, pre-MOT checks and full MOTs, plus major and minor repairs of all kinds. This is a fully garage-based role - there's no attending breakdowns or off-site work, so you can expect a genuine work-life balance alongside varied, hands-on work in a well-equipped facility. \n About the role: \n As HGV/LGV Technician, your main duties will include: \n \n Carrying out safety inspections \n MOT preparations \n General repairs \n Servicing \n \n About you: \n \n Minimum of 3 years' on-the-job experience \n \n What we offer: \n \n A permanent, garage-based role with no weekend or bank holiday work \n No breakdown call-outs or off-site working \n A clean, modern workshop with good facilities \n A small, close-knit team with a positive working environment \n Competitive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 depending on experience \n \n Additional Information: \n This is a fully garage-based position - you will not be expected to attend breakdowns or carry out off-site work. \HGV Technician, LGV Technician, HGV Mechanic, Commercial Vehicle Technician, Truck Fitter, PSV Technician, Fleet Technician, HGV Fitter will also be considered for this role. \
