Overview
The primary function of the Diesel Technician is to diagnose and complete repairs on heavy and medium duty trucks. Individual will perform a variety of tasks on heavy-duty trucks, large construction vehicles, and buses. Those tasks include Inspection, diagnosis, maintenance, installation and repair of components, engines, systems related to the heavy duty and medium duty vehicles.

Responsibilities
- Repair and Maintain customer equipment using hand tools, precision measuring instruments and machine tools
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and examine parts for defects and excessive wear, repair engine/driveline/ABS related issues utilizing sound mechanical knowledge and computer based diagnostic programs
- Perform routine maintenance checks including inspecting brake system, wheel bearings, electrical system, and air system
Minimum Qualifications
- Previous experience as a technician
- Ability to display knowledge of diesel and gas engines
- Ability to display knowledge of repair procedures
