At Tru7 Group, we’re expanding our skilled workshop team and looking for a Qualified HGV Technician to help keep our modern fleet moving safely and efficiently. This isn’t just another workshop role. You’ll be working on a modern, highly specified fleet including Volvo, Scania, and MAN HGVs, ensuring they are maintained to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs across our HGV fleet
  • Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment and software
  • Ensuring all vehicles meet DVSA and company compliance standards
  • Working across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Completing job cards and maintenance records accurately
  • Supporting with breakdowns when required to minimise downtime

What We’re Looking For

  • Fully qualified HGV Technician / Mechanic (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Proven experience working on HGVs in a workshop environment
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding capability
  • Experience with manufacturer systems (Volvo, Scania, MAN desirable)
  • HGV Class 1 or 2 licence (advantageous, not essential)
  • A proactive, team-focused approach with high standards of workmanship
