Health & Safety Advisor in Ipswich

Ipswich Full-Time On-site
T

Tru7 is looking for someone to join our SHEQ team who’s ready to build their experience, get out on site and make a real difference across our operations.

This is a great opportunity for someone in the early stages of their career who has gained experience working in either a quarry, construction or waste environment and wants to develop their knowledge further.

You don’t need years of experience or to know everything already. We’re looking for someone with a good foundation, the right attitude and a willingness to learn. Experience with quarry permits, waste permits or environmental compliance would be a real advantage.

Requirements:

  • Ideally 1–2 years' experience in a Health & Safety, environmental or compliance-related role.
  • Experience working in at least one of the following environments: quarrying, construction or waste management.
  • An understanding of site-based Health & Safety practices and procedures.
  • Exposure to quarry permits, waste permits or environmental compliance would be advantageous.
  • A relevant qualification, such as NEBOSH or IOSH, or a willingness to work towards one.
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A practical, hands-on approach and the confidence to engage with teams on site.
  • Someone proactive who takes responsibility, asks questions and wants to develop.
  • A full UK driving licence would be beneficial due to the site-based nature of the role.

The Tru7 Group is an equal opportunity employer committed to fostering diversity and inclusion in the workplace. We welcome applications from all qualified individuals regardless of background.

All offers of employment are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including references, right to work verification, and where appropriate, a Basic Disclosure check. We assess all applicants fairly and in line with the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
