The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.
This is a varied and hands-on position working at the heart of our busy workshop operation. The role is split across two key areas:
- Plant & Machinery Parts Management
- PPE & Workwear Management
Based within our workshop facilities at Tru7 HQ, you will be working in the middle of an active workshop environment, supporting engineers, mechanics, operators and transport staff by ensuring parts, consumables, PPE and workwear are available when needed. You will play a vital role in keeping our fleet operational, maintaining stock accuracy, sourcing parts efficiently and ensuring employees have the correct PPE and workwear issued and recorded.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage stock levels for plant machinery parts, workshop consumables and essential supplies.
- Source and order parts from approved suppliers, ensuring best value and timely delivery.
- Build strong working relationships with suppliers and manufacturers.
- Process deliveries, check goods received and update inventory systems accurately.
- Maintain organised stores areas and ensure stock is stored safely and efficiently.
- Carry out regular stock counts and inventory audits.
- Liaise daily with workshop engineers and management regarding parts requirements.
- Monitor usage trends and identify opportunities to improve stock control and purchasing efficiencies.
PPE & Workwear Management
- Manage company PPE and workwear stock across the business.
- Issue PPE and clothing to employees and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor stock levels and replenish supplies as required.
- Ensure PPE issued complies with company and industry safety standards.
- Coordinate branded clothing orders and replacements.
- Support new starter onboarding by ensuring PPE and workwear are available prior to commencement.
