Basic Salary: £28,000 – £32,000

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 42.5h week

Our client is looking for a Trainee Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA / Vehicle Estimator, to join their busy accident repair centre and become a fully qualified VDA. This would be an ideal job for a repair technician looking for that next step.

Responsibilities of a the Trainee Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA / Vehicle Estimator:

Appraise a damaged vehicle and identify and record damage, including impact zone and severity
Access industry vehicle repair methods and apply them appropriately
Interpret and accurately apply estimating software system
Using relevant measures to get the vehicle back to pre-accident condition in line with Audatex estimates
Along with your standard duties you will have off the job learning
Qualifications and skills needed for Trainee Vehicle Damage Assessor / VDA / Vehicle Estimator role:

Must have previous experience in the Automotive Accident Repair
Panel, Paint or MET experience is desirable
Computer literate
Good maths and English
Be able to communicate confidently with both customers and clients
Customer friendly
