Master Vehicle Technician
Location: Telford
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm
Our client is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Master Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop team. This is a hands‑on role suited to a technician who excels at diagnosing and resolving complex faults while supporting and mentoring colleagues. You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of workmanship, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities of a Master Vehicle Technician / Senior Vehicle Technician
- Carry out advanced diagnostics, repairs and servicing on a range of vehicles
- Accurately diagnose electrical and mechanical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
- Support and mentor other technicians within the workshop
- Ensure all work is completed to manufacturer and safety standards
- Complete job cards and service records accurately and efficiently
- Keep up to date with manufacturer training and technical bulletins
- Maintain high levels of productivity and quality of work
- Adhere to all health and safety procedures
- Assist with complex technical issues and support workshop efficiency
Essential Skills and Qualifications for a Master Vehicle Technician
- Proven experience as a Master Vehicle Technician or Senior Vehicle Technician
- NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
- Excellent mechanical and electrical knowledge
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Good communication and mentoring skills
