This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Roadside Technician or Mobile HGV Technician to join a busy night shift roadside support team covering the West Midlands. Attending live breakdowns and carrying out mobile repairs on trucks and trailers, this role is ideal for a Mobile Commercial Vehicle Technician who thrives working independently in a fast‑paced, customer‑facing environment.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Attending live roadside breakdowns and carrying out mobile repairs on trucks and trailers
  • Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and EBS faults accurately as an experienced Mobile HGV Technician
  • Repairing deck and tail lift systems with full training provided
  • Supporting the recovery team when required
  • Following roadside safety processes and compliance protocols at all times
  • Maintaining accurate communication and documentation throughout each job
Pay and Benefits
  • £17.00–£20.00 per hour depending on experience
  • Fully equipped roadside service vehicle provided
  • 28 days holiday including Bank Holidays

What You Will Need
  • Proven experience as a Roadside Technician, Mobile HGV Technician or Mobile Commercial Vehicle Technician
  • City & Guilds or NVQ Level 1–3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
  • Strong diagnostic and fault finding ability
  • Knowledge of EBS, tail lifts and hydraulic systems — training available for the right candidate
  • Strong communication and customer facing skills
  • HGV licence desirable
