We are seeking Panel Beaters / Panel Technicians with MET experience to join our busy Accident Repair shop. We are looking to fill two experienced roles and one role for a candidate with some experience who may require additional training. This is a multi-skilled role that will involve panel fitting, panel beating, and MET work (paint experience is not required).
As a key member of our team, you will work on LCVs and HGV cabs, carrying out high-quality repairs while maintaining an organised and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform panel fitting, panel beating, MET (Mechanical, Electrical, and Trim) work, and repair damaged parts, including LCVs and HGV cabs
- Strip and refit panels, trims, and vehicle body components
- Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs to ensure vehicles are safe and roadworthy
- Collaborate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality standards
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Work independently or as part of a team to meet targets and deadlines
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Body Repair or time-served experience
- Proven experience in panel beating and MET work (paint skills not required)
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
- Own tools required
- Ability to work independently and within a team
- Full UK driving licence preferred but not essential
- Optional Overtime at 1.33x rate
