Location: Trafford Park, Manchester

Salary: Up to £15.60 per hour + bonus opportunities

Shift: 44 hours per week – 07:00-16:30 Monday to Thursday, 07:00-15:30 Friday. Flexibility given

We are looking for a hands-on, motivated Vehicle Bodybuilder, Commercial Vehicle Body Fitter, or Panel Builder to join a busy, professional workshop. You will play a key role in building, installing, and finishing high-quality commercial vehicle bodies, ensuring work meets quality standards and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities: Vehicle Bodybuilder / Commercial Vehicle Body Fitter / Vehicle Panel Builde

Work independently and take initiative to achieve timelines and quality standards

Read engineering drawings and work from works orders

Use hand tools, bench saws, and measurement equipment safely and accurately

Install insulated panels on commercial vehicles

Electrically terminate lighting, switches, and tail lifts

Seal joints, floors, and roofs with silicone and gel coatings

Cut metals, woods, and plastics using hand tools and bench equipment

Maintain high standards of housekeeping across workshops and vehicles

Support other reasonable projects or tasks as directed by management

Adhere to health & safety, maintenance procedures, and quality control

Skills and Experience: Vehicle Bodybuilder / Commercial Vehicle Body Fitter / Vehicle Panel Builde

Essential

Vehicle bodybuilding or commercial vehicle assembly experience

Excellent understanding of the manufacturing process

Practical, hands-on, and motivated by producing high-quality results

Reliable transportation to site

Desirable

Ability to read engineering drawings

Experience with insulated panels and electrical terminations on vehicles
