LCV Technician / Light Commercial Vehicle Mechanic – Caerphilly Area
Location: Caerphilly and surrounding areas
Salary: £38 (apply online only) – £45 (apply online only)
Hours: Alternate shifts – 6 am to 2 pm / 13:30 pm to 10 pm
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time
Join a busy, modern commercial vehicle workshop near Caerphilly as an experienced LCV Technician. You\’ll work a rotating shift pattern with excellent overtime rates for Saturdays. This role offers ongoing training and progression working on a wide range of light commercial vehicles, including the latest electric models.

- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and electronic faults on light commercial vehicles
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to high standards

- Communicate clearly and work effectively with the team
Skills and Qualifications
Essential
- Experience working as an LCV Technician or Light Commercial Vehicle Mechanic
- Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic skills
- Good knowledge of LCV repairs and servicing
- Attention to detail and commitment to health and safety
- Willingness to learn and train on latest technologies including electric vehicles
Desirable
- Relevant vocational qualifications (e.g. IMI, City & Guilds)
- Experience working in main dealer or commercial fleet environments
