Location: Highbridge

Salary: £19.23 per hour | Approx. £47,000 per year (including alternate Saturday overtime)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am - 3:30pm

Overtime: Every other Saturday (half day) paid at 1.5x

Are you an experienced LCV Technician, Van Technician, or Light Commercial Vehicle Technician looking for a permanent day shift role in Highbridge? We are recruiting for a skilled LCV Technician to join a professional commercial vehicle workshop. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Van Technician, Light Commercial Vehicle Technician, or Commercial Vehicle Technician looking for competitive earnings, regular overtime and a great work-life balance.

Working within a busy workshop environment, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a range of light commercial vehicles to a high standard, ensuring vehicles remain safe, reliable and compliant.

Key Responsibilities of an LCV Technician:

  • Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on vans and light commercial vehicles
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical and technical faults
  • Complete inspections, preventative maintenance and defect repairs
  • Carry out MOT preparation and safety checks
  • Maintain accurate job cards and workshop documentation
  • Ensure all repairs are completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment

Skills and Experience Required:

Essential:

  • Previous experience as an LCV Technician, Van Technician, or Light Commercial Vehicle Technician
  • Experience working on commercial vans and light vehicles
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence

Desirable:

  • Level 3 Light Vehicle or LCV Maintenance qualification
  • Experience with fleet vehicles or main dealer environments
  • Diagnostic experience
