Key Responsibilities of an HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / HGV Fitter
Carry out routine servicing, maintenance and inspections on HGVs and trailers
Diagnose faults and carry out mechanical, electrical and hydraulic repairs
Complete structural and chassis repairs including welding when required
Ensure all work meets DVSA and manufacturer compliance standards
Keep accurate service records and complete relevant documentation
Contribute to a safe and efficient working environment
