The Role:
As a Technician Supervisor / Workshop Supervisor, you will:
- Lead and support the late shift workshop team
- Allocate work alongside the Workshop Controller
- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on HGVs and commercial vehicles
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
- Ensure all work meets DVSA and manufacturer standards
- Complete workshop documentation using Keyloop/Kerridge
- Mentor and support technicians and apprentices
- Maintain a safe, productive and well-organised workshop
Requirements:
To be considered you will need:
- Level 3 NVQ, IMI or City & Guilds qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
- Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or Commercial Vehicle Technician
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
- Experience leading, mentoring or supervising technicians is desirable
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
