About the Role
Are you an experienced HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic looking for a well-paid, stable role in Thatcham with outstanding overtime earnings? This is an excellent opportunity to join a large and well-established fleet operation in a newly refurbished workshop, offering £45,200 per year with an OTE of £55. Working on a fleet of over 100 vehicles including HGVs and light vans, this role also involves maintaining specialist road marking plant and equipment with full training provided - no prior experience of this equipment is required. What You Will Be Doing
- Day to day repair and preventative maintenance of HGVs and light vans including MOT prep, PMIs, servicing and defects
- Maintenance and repair of specialist road marking machines and plant with full training provided
- Attending satellite depots to carry out repairs and maintenance as an experienced HGV Mechanic
- Providing on-call breakdown cover on a 1 week in 4 rota with a company van provided
- Proactively maintaining a safe and healthy working environment
