We are recruiting an experienced HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Master Technician for a busy, professional workshop in West Thurrock. This is a permanent role offering strong hourly pay, regular overtime, and a clear progression route to Master Technician level.
You will be responsible for servicing, repairs and diagnostics on HGVs and trailers, working to high standards using modern computer-aided diagnostic equipment.
What you’ll be doing:
- Maintenance, servicing and repair of HGVs and trailers
- Fault finding using computer-aided diagnostics
- Completing inspections, job cards and service reports
- Working to main dealer and safety standards
- Supporting the workshop on rotating shifts
What we need from you:
- Level 3 HGV qualification or time served
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician or HGV Mechanic
- Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Class 1 licence desirable but not essential
