The Role
We are looking for an experienced Parts Advisor / Automotive Parts Advisor to join a busy commercial vehicle dealership in Gloucester. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with automotive parts, commercial vehicle parts or dealership parts experience looking to join a professional team with good earning potential and career development. You'll play a key role in ensuring the workshop and customers have the correct parts available when required, whilst delivering excellent customer service and maintaining accurate stock records.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and supply parts for commercial vehicles
- Serve workshop technicians and retail customers
- Process parts orders and raise invoices
- Check availability, pricing and delivery times
- Source parts from suppliers when required
- Maintain accurate stock levels and records
- Receive, check and store incoming parts
- Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers
- Deal with customer enquiries by phone, email and in person
- Support the smooth running of the Parts Department
- Identify additional sales opportunities and maximise revenue
Requirements
- Previous Parts Advisor, Parts Sales or Automotive Parts experience preferred
- Commercial vehicle or dealership experience advantageous
- Good knowledge of vehicle parts and components
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Good computer and administration skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Organised and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Full UK driving licence preferred
Salary & Bonus
£30,000-£32,000 basic salary
Targeted monthly bonus scheme £300 bonus plus 1% over 120% target when agreed KPIs are achieved
40 hours per week, Monday-Friday
