Are you an experienced Commercial Vehicle Technician with HGV or LCV experience looking for a Monday to Friday role with readily available overtime paid at 1.5x? We are recruiting for a skilled Commercial Vehicle Technician to join a busy workshop in Gloucester, working on a range of HGV and LCV vehicles.
The Role
- Service, maintain and repair HGV and LCV vehicles
- Carry out major and minor mechanical repairs
- Diagnose and repair vehicle faults
- Complete preventative maintenance and inspections
- Carry out roadside repairs when required
- Complete warranty work and accurate paperwork
- Identify worn and faulty components to DVSA standards
- Maintain high standards of safety and workmanship
Shift Pattern
- Week 1: 06:00-14:30, Monday to Friday
- Week 2: 13:30-22:00, Monday to Friday
About You
- Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds or IMI qualification in HGV/LCV Vehicle Maintenance
- Previous experience as a Commercial Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician or LCV Technician
- Strong diagnostic and repair skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Reliable and quality-focused
