Tru Talent is delighted to be partnering with a well-regarded local waste management and disposal facilities client in their search for an experienced Customer Service Administrator to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in the business, handling key administrative tasks while ensuring customer needs and expectations are met with professionalism and efficiency. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team environment but also possess the initiative and confidence to work independently when needed. Responsibilities of the Customer Service Administrator:
- Answering operational telephone calls in a professional manner
- Building a rapport with customers and suppliers and managing client accounts where needed
- Processing customer orders and liaising with suppliers
- Advising customers on both commercial and domestic waste management
- Liaising with accounts receivables regarding customer credit card payments
- Administrative duties ensuring the smooth running of the customer service department including any adhoc tasks
- Assisting your colleagues in other departments where required
- Administration of contractor pricing, purchase orders and new sites onto the system
- Making notes for sites, clients and supply chain with appropriate information and advising departments on issues
- Advising on best practice of conflict solutions when customer and supplier queries arise
Needed for the role of Customer Service Administrator:
- Waste or Construction experience is desirable not essential as training will be provided
- Good Customer Service skills
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Administration experience
- Organisational skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, and Word)
