Location: Caerphilly
Salary: £44,000 - £46,000 basic (£21 - £22 per hour)
OTE: Up to £54,000 with overtime at time and a half
Hours: Nights, 22:00, full-time
Job Type: Permanent
We are looking for experienced HGV Technicians, HGV Mechanics and HGV Fitters to join a busy night shift team near Caerphilly. You will work on diagnostics, servicing, maintenance and repairs across a variety of heavy goods vehicles, using the latest technology. This is a great opportunity to earn OTE, gain hands-on experience, and develop your skills.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults on HGVs
- Carry out routine servicing and preventive maintenance
- Use computer-aided diagnostic tools (training provided)
- Record work accurately and support shift handovers
- Ensure health and safety compliance
- Proven experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or HGV Fitter
- Strong mechanical, electrical and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of HGV servicing, repairs and DVSA regulations
- Committed to health and safety and willing to train on new technologies
- IMI, City & Guilds or NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance
- Experience in main dealer or commercial fleet workshops
- Class 1 (C+E) driving licence
