Role: Freelance Meta Ads Specialist (Purchases Focus) – Remote
About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Freelance Meta Ads Specialist with at least 3 years of hands-on experience running campaigns optimised for purchases. This role is remote and flexible, ideal for an independent professional who thrives on driving measurable results through Meta advertising. The role involves monitoring ad performance, analysing data, and making data-driven decisions to enhance campaign efficiency. The specialist will collaborate with the team to align ad strategies with overall marketing goals and ensure client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and manage Meta (Facebook & Instagram) ad campaigns optimised for purchases/conversions.
- Build, test, and optimise funnels including audience targeting, creatives, and budget allocation.
- Implement retargeting strategies (add-to-cart, checkout, engagers, etc.) to maximise ROAS.
- Monitor campaign performance, analyse results, and adjust strategies to improve conversion rates.
- Provide clear reporting on cost per purchase, ROAS, and overall performance.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience running Meta campaigns with a focus on purchase objectives.
- Strong understanding of Meta Ads Manager, pixel/events setup, and conversion tracking.
- Experience managing multiple campaigns and budgets.
- Ability to work independently and provide proactive recommendations.
- Freelancer / independent contractor only — no agencies.
Nice to Have
- Experience with other ad platforms (Google Ads, TikTok) is a plus.
- Familiarity with e-commerce funnels and Shopify/WordPress integrations.
