Position Overview:

Title: Education, Events & Field Sales Manager (Europe)

Location: London, UK (with regular travel throughout Europe)

Type: Full-time

Brand Focus: Le Monde Gourmand (with future expansion into other Tru Fragrance & Beauty brands)

Reporting to: Vice President, International Business

Direct reports: Freelance Field Sales team

Compensation: Negotiable (based on experience)

Tru Fragrance & Beauty has ambitious plans for international expansion and the Le Monde Gourmand (LMG) x Sephora Europe partnership is a cornerstone of this initiative. This role is one of three newly created positions, dedicated to strengthening Tru’s partnership with Sephora and driving sustainable growth across Europe.

The Education, Events & Field Sales Manager (Europe) will lead the development and execution of all training programs, in-store events, and consumer activations. The role will also manage a freelance field team across the region. Initially, the role will focus on the LMG x Sephora partnership however it will extend to support new LMG retail partnerships and other Tru brands as they launch in Europe.

Job Responsibilities:

Education

  • Develop and deliver impactful training programs (online, in-person, and hybrid) for Sephora teams across Europe.
  • Adapt or create brand and product education to meet local market needs.
  • Build relationships with Sephora education managers and field trainers to ensure ongoing advocacy for the brand.
  • Track and report training completion, effectiveness, and impact on sales.

Events & Activations

  • Plan and execute in-store events, masterclasses and consumer-facing experiences to align with local marketing calendars.
  • Manage event logistics, including staffing, materials, and budgets.
  • Support PR and marketing teams with event execution and post-event reporting.
  • Support international marketing team with influencer events.
  • With VP of International Business, define the Europe field sales strategy.
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of freelance and/or part-time brand ambassadors across Europe (may have agency support).
  • Develop clear sales targets, event goals, and performance KPIs for the field team.
  • Provide coaching, feedback, and ongoing motivation to ensure excellence in customer service, product knowledge, and sales results.
  • Monitor field performance, track ROI, and provide regular reporting.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support

  • Work closely with the Business/Account Manager to align training and events with commercial goals and Sephora priorities.
  • Partner with the International Marketing Manager to ensure all activations are consistent with brand positioning and marketing strategy.
  • Share best practices, success stories, and learnings with U.S. HQ to drive global alignment.

Operational Excellence

  • Maintain a calendar of training and events across Europe.
  • Track budgets, expenses, and ROI for training and events.
  • Provide regular reporting on activity, impact, and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of beauty retail experience, with a proven track record of exceeding sales goals.
  • Beauty savvy, able to embody the brand while adhering to retailer dress code policies.
  • Strong ability to work independently, with an entrepreneurial and resilient mindset.
  • Collaborative, inclusive leader with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams), with comfort in working with sales reporting tools.
  • Experience managing people, including freelance teams.
  • Strong business acumen, with the ability to make data-driven decisions to drive sales performance.
  • Willingness to travel (80% of the time)
