Turbine Repair Technologies Ltd (TRT Ltd) are excited to be looking for a *Process Operator* to join our Operations team.
Turbine Repair Technologies Ltd (TRT Ltd) is a joint venture between Rolls-Royce Plc and Chromalloy, focused on the repair of gas turbine blades and vanes for aerospace and energy applications. It has specialisms in various coatings required to protect components from extreme heat during operations in addition to some more conventional repair techniques.
The core business of TRT Ltd is the repair of turbine blades and vanes for Civil Aerospace, Military and industrial gas turbine engines.
*JOB TITLE:* Process Operator
*DEPARTMENT:* Blades / NGV Cells
*RESPONSIBLE TO:* Production Supervision
This role will require you to have a great attitude and high levels of motivation. You will have good attention to detail and will be able to work well both as an individual and as part of a team.

*DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* Mask and de-mask components to protect critical surfaces.
* Load baskets and immerse in various solutions to the specific requirements. Unload these baskets after processing. This includes Ferric Etch and Nitric Acid Solutions.
* Wash, dry and degrease the components to appropriate specification.
* Process components through super polish in accordance with supplied specifications, including checking surface finish obtained.
* Aqueous degrease components in accordance with supplied specifications including (where appropriate) “Water Break” testing.
* Train colleagues as and when required to do so.
* Interpret and conform to “Route Card” and “Standard Data Card” instructions.
* Carry out routine maintenance on equipment to the required TPM / PPM standards.
* Ensure that supervision are informed of any problems or discrepancies as they arise.
* Liaise with colleagues to promote Team Working and to ensure a smooth hand over of work.
* Understand and work to TRT guidelines and observe all TRT policies.
* Any other duties that may be required by the Company.
In addition, the successful candidate will be required to understand and work to TRT guidelines and observe all TRT policies.

* Experience with Gas Turbine Components (Blades and Vanes)

*SALARY:* £12.37 per hour + 15% shift premium (£14.22p/h)
*HOURS:* 39 hours per week – Monday - Friday 06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00\\*
