We are seeking a curious, critical-thinking Commercial & Incentives Analyst to join our Commercial Excellence team at Reuters. In this role, you will be expected to acquire a deep understanding of the business and work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver the core building blocks that motivate Sales and facilitate growth across the business.

About the Role

  • Data Analytics & Decision Support: Leverage data visualization tools (like Power BI and Tableau) to transform sales performance metrics into actionable insights, driving strategic decisions for senior management. Design, develop, and maintain comprehensive reporting tools and dashboards that provide real-time data to Sales and leadership. Deliver insightful analyses to guide GTM strategies, uncover growth opportunities, and improve business outcomes (e.g., sales participation, white space, pipeline health). Analyze and interpret business performance, making recommendations for improvements in policy, resource allocation, and operations/processes.
  • Commissions & Incentives: Assist in implementing and refining sales compensation plans, including account segmentation, resource allocation, territory assignment, and quota setting. Collaborate with Finance to ensure accurate and timely commission payouts, addressing discrepancies effectively. Identify opportunities to reduce manual processes and improve the efficiency of quarterly commission cycles. Champion best practices in data management and reporting to enhance our approach continually.

About You

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI & Tableau.
  • Strong analytical skills that distill complex data into strategic insights and narratives that drive action.
  • Effective communication skills to convey ideas clearly to stakeholders across various levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and maintain high-quality results.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and experience in commercial or sales analytics is a plus but not required.
  • Confidence to challenge the status quo.
