If you enjoy dealing with customers and making delivery services run like clockwork, this could be a great move. The HVAC industry is growing rapidly as its green technology replaces carbon-heavy oil and gas heating systems. My client is one of the leading HVAC distributors and they’re now looking for a new team member to ensure they deliver products on time to happy customers.
This role is part customer relations, part logistics. The company’s customers are mostly tradespeople who place their orders and expect the necessary kit to arrive at the right time and place. You’ll be responsible for following up on deliveries by phone and acting quickly to solve any problems, such as missing pieces or billing queries.
The role is branch-based, working closely with colleagues in accounts, order processing, logistics, and tech support to resolve any issues. You’ll also be building relationships with customers who value the company’s products and rely on fast, efficient support. Additionally, you’ll be serving customers on the trade counter.
It would be ideal if you’ve worked in a company or branch that supplies trade customers, whether on the counter, in the back office, or in the warehouse. You’ll understand the pressures trade customers face and excel at earning their trust while collaborating with others to resolve problems. HVAC experience isn’t necessary as this isn’t a technical role; a tech support team is available if needed.
Finally, you should have good basic IT skills, a decent standard of numeracy and literacy, and a calm telephone manner.
The role is fully office-based, working 8 to 5, Monday to Friday, based in Trafford Park. The starting salary will reflect your experience and there are good employee benefits, including a pension and 25 days’ holiday. You’d be joining a successful business that promotes from within.
