We are recruiting an experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading player in the industrial refrigeration sector. This role focuses on securing and developing business across heavy commercial and industrial environments, with a particular emphasis on food manufacturing, process cooling, and large-scale industrial applications. This is not a supermarket refrigeration position — we are looking for someone with deeper industrial exposure.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop new business across the industrial refrigeration market (food, processing, manufacturing, distribution, etc.)
- Manage and grow relationships with key clients and strategic accounts
- Engage with end users, process engineers, project teams and industrial customers
- Travel across the UK as required to meet customers and attend sites
- Drive revenue growth and develop long-term partnerships
Ideal Candidate Profile
You must have:
- Strong background in industrial or heavy commercial refrigeration
- Experience working with food processing / industrial cooling equipment
- Ability to support design, costing and technical proposals
- Solid commercial acumen and experience closing high-value projects
- Confidence engaging with engineering teams and end users
- Willingness to travel across the UK
Preferred but not essential:
- Exposure to ammonia, COâ‚‚, or industrial chillers
- Experience in process cooling or large-scale industrial plant
