A growing and established lighting manufacturer is looking for a Specification Sales Manager to take ownership of the North. This is a newly created role and the first dedicated specification position in the region, offering real autonomy to build the territory, develop key relationships and grow a strong project pipeline.

The Role

  • Secure lighting specifications with M&E consultants, architects, lighting designers, developers and contractors
  • Develop relationships with electrical wholesalers and their lighting/key account teams
  • Manage projects from specification through to order and completion
  • Build and maintain a strong regional project pipeline
  • Deliver product presentations and CPDs
  • Work closely with internal design, technical and sales teams to convert opportunities
  • Identify new projects, customers and market opportunities

About You

You’ll be an experienced lighting specification sales professional with strong industry relationships and a solid understanding of the electrical wholesale channel. You’ll ideally have:

  • Proven specification sales experience within lighting
  • Strong consultant, contractor and wholesaler relationships
  • Good knowledge of LED lighting and applications
  • Experience taking projects from specification through to conversion
  • A commercial, proactive approach to developing new business
  • Knowledge of major electrical wholesalers would be a strong advantage

Package

£55,000 – £60,000 basic + uncapped bonus. Fully electric company car or allowance, private healthcare, pension, 23 days' holiday + Bank Holidays, laptop, mobile and additional wellbeing benefits.
