Junior Sales Engineer to join our growing team.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with an interest in engineering, construction or technical products who wants to build a long-term career in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

You’ll receive structured training and mentoring while learning how to prepare technical quotations, support live projects, work with Auto CAD drawings and build strong relationships with customers and contractors.

The Role

  • As a Junior Sales Engineer, you’ll support both our sales and project teams by:
  • Preparing quotations for gas detection systems and associated products.
  • Reviewing customer specifications, drawings and tender documentation.
  • Assisting with the preparation of technically compliant and commercially competitive proposals.
  • Following up quotations and supporting the conversion of enquiries into confirmed orders.
  • Working closely with contractors, consultants and engineers throughout live projects.
  • Assisting with the production and amendment of Auto CAD drawings.
  • Supporting project documentation, drawing revisions and document control.
  • Coordinating technical information between customers and internal teams.
  • Maintaining CRM records and tracking sales opportunities.
  • Developing your understanding of Stage 3 and Stage 4 design processes through structured mentoring and hands‑on experience.
  • What We’re Looking For

We're looking for someone who is eager to learn, enjoys solving problems and wants to develop a career within a technical environment.

Ideally, you’ll have

  • An interest in engineering, construction or technical products.
  • Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office.
  • Auto CAD experience or knowledge (desirable but not essential).
  • Experience within engineering, construction, M&E or technical sales would be advantageous.
