A highly technical engineering manufacturer operating within the HVAC, controls, and data centre sector is looking to appoint a Project Sales Manager to support continued growth across the South East region. This is a consultative, engineering-led sales role focused on delivering technical solutions into OEMs, consultants, contractors, and specialist data centre customers. The business designs and delivers highly technical control and HVAC-related systems including controllers, humidification, valves, BMS integration, and bespoke engineered solutions used within critical environments.

This role would suit someone with a strong engineering background who understands the full project lifecycle from early-stage consultant engagement and specification through to tender, award, commissioning, and delivery.

Sales Managers duties:
  • Manage and develop relationships across consultants, OEMs, contractors, and data centre clients
  • Deliver consultative technical sales support across a highly engineered product range
  • Support projects from specification stage through to commissioning and handover
  • Deliver CPDs and technical presentations to consultants and customers
  • Manage territory pricing, margin protection, quotations, and project pipeline activity
  • Develop strong relationships across key accounts and strategic projects
Sales Managers requirements:
  • Background within HVAC, controls, BMS, cooling, refrigeration, or mechanical building services
  • Previous experience within OEM HVAC, critical cooling, data centres, or technical building services environments
  • Mechanically qualified preferred (HNC/HND, Mechanical Engineering, Refrigeration, Building Services or similar)
  • Strong understanding of technical project sales and specification-led environments
  • Able to engage confidently with consultants, engineers, contractors, and technical stakeholders
  • Commercially aware with strong attention to engineering detail

Location: South East preferred with access to the M25 corridor. Ideal locations include: Surrey, Kent, South East London, Guildford, Cambridge corridor, Central London, Bristol corridor.

The role is hybrid with approximately one office day per week.

Sales Managers Package:
  • £70,000 – £75,000 basic salary DOE
  • Bonus structure (£10k–£15k potential)
