I am working with a leading global manufacturer in the HVAC and humidity control sector who are looking to hire a Commercial Gas Engineer. This isn’t a traditional commercial gas service role. The position focuses on specialist humidity control, environmental systems and building services equipment, with commercial gas knowledge valued due to the customer base and applications. There is very little hands-on commercial gas work involved, with much of the work centred around HVAC, controls and system commissioning/decommissioning. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who holds commercial gas qualifications but is looking to broaden their skillset and move into a growing specialist area as the industry continues to decarbonise.

MUST HAVE:

  • Commercial Gas qualifications (COCN1 / COCO1 Core Commercial Gas Safety or equivalent)
  • Background in HVAC, building services or mechanical engineering
  • Interest in environmental control, humidification and specialist HVAC systems
  • Desire to develop beyond traditional commercial gas work

LOCATION: Ideally based across the South, with coverage into London. This is a great move for someone looking ahead at the future of building services and wanting to transition from conventional gas-focused work into a more technical, niche and future-focused engineering environment.
