We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC Designer to join a globally recognised Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) organisation supporting a major refinery project. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a market-leading engineering business on a high-profile project, utilising industry-leading design and simulation tools including ASPEN.
The Role
As an HVAC Designer, you will be responsible for reviewing and developing HVAC system designs for a large-scale refinery project, ensuring compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and assess HVAC system designs for refinery and industrial process facilities.
- Ensure designs comply with project requirements, applicable codes, and industry standards.
- Perform HVAC calculations and design assessments.
- Utilise ASPEN and other engineering software to support design verification and optimisation.
- Coordinate with process, mechanical, piping, and project engineering teams.
- Identify design improvements and provide technical recommendations.
- Support design reviews, HAZOPs, and technical meetings where required.
- Produce and review technical documentation and design deliverables.
Requirements
Proven experience as an HVAC Designer within the oil and gas sector.
