Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer ready to take the lead on technically challenging and high impact projects?
We re looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join our clients growing engineering function, driving the design and delivery of control panels, MCCs and automation systems for a wide range of industrial applications.
This role is based in the Hampshire area.
In this key role, you ll take ownership of complex design work, provide technical leadership, and play a pivotal part in ensuring our solutions are safe, compliant, innovative, and cost effective.
Experience * Leading the design and development of electrical control panels, MCCs and automation systems from concept to manufacture. * Producing and reviewing detailed electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and layouts. * Verifying design integrity through testing and design verification processes. * Ensuring all designs meet client specifications, functional requirements and BS EN 61439 2:2021. * Selecting and specifying electrical components with consideration of performance, compliance and value. * Supporting manufacturing teams, resolving design queries, and providing technical input during FAT, SAT and commissioning. * Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to continuous process and design improvement. * Staying current with new standards, technologies and industry trends.
