The Wind Turbine Technician is responsible with others, to provide maintenance, servicing and inspection of wind turbines and balance of plant, to ensure the assets are maintained in a safe, efficient and cost-effective manner, maximising the commercial value within compliant requirements
- Key Requirements
- Perform planned and reactive maintenance, servicing, inspections, fault finding, modifications, retrofits, and component replacements on wind turbines and balance of plant equipment.
- Use SCADA and diagnostic systems to investigate faults, reset turbines, monitor performance, and maximise energy production.
- Work safely and independently within a small team, maintaining accurate records and adhering to all HSSE and safe working procedures.
- Must Have
- Proven wind turbine maintenance and servicing experience.
- Full GWO certification (including Enhanced First Aid and Advanced Rescue).
- Strong electrical and/or mechanical technical background with troubleshooting experience.
- Nice to Have
- Senvion MM platform experience.
- Competent Slinger/Signaller and Banksman.
- HNC, ONC or NVQ qualification in a relevant engineering discipline.
