The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 Β£ per year.
Our power division provides reliable and innovative solutions to meet the most challenging requirements for power generation, grid stabilization, substation and power grid support, and decarbonization through electrification. This is a hybrid role working 3 days on site and 2 days from home.
Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing control logic, instrumentation, hardware and software solutions, including human interfaces which govern complex systems often consisting of static and dynamic electrical and mechanical components, sensors and communications interfaces.
- Delivering engineering and scientific efforts related to the design of new products and services and new designs for customer projects.
- Delivering projects through the design, verification, production and, if required, commercialization stages.
- Coordinating closely with Discipline, Research, and Testing teams as needed.
Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent qualified in an Engineering discipline.
- Experience in Python programming language.
- Previous experience on low-level data manipulation (binary and bitwise operations).
- Comfortable working with Linux and the command line.
- Exposure to Modbus communication protocol, cloud-based virtual machines, Microsoft Azure, and software revision control (Git).
