We are looking for a number of Construction Apprentice working for a Globally Leading EPC based in Murton. The Construction Apprentice will support the day-to-day running of our construction site at Murton, ensuring that work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience and structured training to develop the skills and knowledge required to manage construction projects effectively, safely, and efficiently while also undertaking a Level 6 Construction Degree Apprenticeship This role offers an exciting opportunity to learn the core responsibilities of site while contributing to the successful delivery of a nationally significant project. Key responsibilities, accountabilities, and decision ownership: Support in scheduling and planning construction tasks and timelines. Learn to interpret site drawings, specifications, and project documentation. Assist in coordinating subcontractors, trades, and materials to ensure smooth project progress. Support site management/supervision in monitoring daily site activities. Help prepare and maintain daily site records and reports. Ensure all workers follow health and safety policies and procedures. Participate in site safety briefings and toolbox talks. Report hazards or incidents to senior site personnel. Assist in checking that work meets quality standards and specifications. Help conduct site inspections and audits under supervision. Attend site meetings and contribute updates on progress when required. Maintain clear and respectful communication with all site personnel. Participate in all training sessions and educational components of the apprenticeship. Keep a personal development log (CPD) and a portfolio of work. Core competencies, knowledge and experience: Genuine interest in the construction industry and a desire to grow into a site leadership role. Proactive mindset with a willingness to take the initiative and solve problems. Team player with excellent communication skills and a positive approach towards others. Should something not seem right, you will have the confidence to challenge what you see. Excellent time management– you will be able to manage different tasks at the same time. Essential requirements & technical/professional qualifications: The right to work in the United Kingdom (without sponsorship) Able to write and speak English. Holds a full UK driving licence. At least four GCSEs at Grade 4 / C or above, plus 1 A Level or 2 AS Levels; or BTEC National in a relevant construction/engineering qualification; or T-Level or an equivalent qualification
