Location: North Wales / Hybrid / 2-3 days on site minimum
Contract Duration: 01/11/2025 – 31/10/2026
Summary: We are seeking a proactive, self-starter to join our finance team as a Financial Commercial Analyst. In this role, you will provide key financial insight and commercial analysis to support decision-making and improve business performance.
You’ll take ownership of reporting and complete ad hoc tasks as required. With strong analytical skills and commercial awareness, you’ll confidently challenge assumptions and influence business outcomes.
This role will support the Finance Manager in overseeing the financial and commercial activities of 2 offshore wind farms, located in North Wales. This role will also support ad hoc projects in the wider business as required.
Key Responsibilities
- Financial Planning & Reporting: Prepare external stakeholder reports, including budgeting, forecasting, business planning, and benchmarking.
- Support development of commercial analysis and monthly financial reporting.
- Produce accurate and timely month-end financial reports.
- Support on ad hoc requests
- Contracts & Claims Management: Support in the assessment of commercial contracts
- Act as the key interface with RWE Insurance, managing all insurance claims on behalf of the Joint Venture.
- Liquidity & Cash Flow Management: Support liquidity planning, including dividends and cash flow management.
Must Have Skills
- Professional Qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Experience in commercial analysis, financial modelling, budgeting, and business planning.
- Familiarity with month-end processes, reporting cycles, and preparing management reports.
- Understanding of cash flow and liquidity management.
- Experience supporting or managing commercial contracts, insurance claims, or claims management.
- Stakeholder Management
- Ability to produce clear, concise reporting for both financial and non-financial audiences.
- Proficiency in Excel
- 3+ years’ experience in commercial/financial roles, preferably within energy, infrastructure, utilities, or related industries.
