A highly respected Design & Build contractor is entering a phase of growth and is recruiting an experienced Site Manager to join a new large project starting. The team genuinely invests in their team, backs their Site Managers and has built an outstanding reputation for delivering complex projects safely, efficiently and to an exceptional standard. Autonomy
You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day site operations, ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to programme. You’ll coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site personnel, driving short-term planning, sequencing works and resolving issues before they impact productivity.
Leadership
You’ll lead from the front, creating a positive site culture while maintaining the highest standards of health and safety, workmanship and client satisfaction.
Work away and save
The project is based in Regional Canterbury, so you’ll be comfortable working away from home Monday to Friday. All travel, accommodation and Living Away From Home Allowances are provided, allowing you to focus on the project while enjoying your weekends back at home.
About You
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship and naturally leads by example. Ideally you’ll have:
- Several years of Site Management in New Zealand
- Experience building large concrete structures
- Good planning, coordination and organisational skills
- A proactive approach to solving problems on site
- Excellent knowledge of NZ health and safety requirements
- A positive and supportive leadership style
