Role Overview
We are seeking a technically motivated and customer focused Field Service Engineer to join our team. The role involves service, installation, breakdown, repair and calibration of sophisticated laboratory diagnostics systems utilized within pathology departments, NHS laboratories and clinical chemistry environments, with additional support for flow cytometry, cell separation and diagnostics products located at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, installation, troubleshooting, repair and calibration of laboratory diagnostics systems.
- Provide on-site support for flow cytometry, cell separation, and diagnostics products.
Qualifications & Experience
- Strong background in a field service or technical support role within electronics or electro-mechanical engineering.
- Experience is welcomed from a wide variety of backgrounds, including high-value electronics capital equipment, microscopy, cameras, lasers, x-ray security detection, ex-forces (weapons guidance, radar, avionics or biomedical engineering), medical device, biomedical engineering, pathology laboratory diagnostics and laboratory device.
- Minimum ONC/HNC level or above in electronics or another relevant technical discipline.
- Impeccable customer service skills and confidence in customer-facing environments.
