This market leader seeks to recruit a technically motivated and customer focused Technical Support Engineer, responsible for:
- Providing technical support and first line technical fixes via telephone and by using connectivity tools
- Supporting customers with technical issues on a range of medical diagnostic analysers
- Guiding users through troubleshooting via phone and video calls
- Escalating unresolved technical issues to the Field Service Engineering team
Your Background – Technical Support Engineer, Medical Pathology Analysers
To succeed in this exciting role, you must be able to demonstrate:
- A competent background in a service engineering capacity gained within any high value capital equipment environment
- Applications are encouraged from engineers with a broad range of backgrounds, including laboratory device, medical device, pharmaceutical device, ex forces engineers (medical & dental, weapons systems, radar) and a wide range of other electronic or electro-mechanical from other sectors
- A qualification in engineering, electronics or a science based subject to a minimum of ONC level
- Applicants are welcome from field service engineers from a broad base of sectors, as full and comprehensive product training will be provided
