Overview
This is a home-based field service role that will involve working ten hour days on a 4 day on, 4 day off rotation. The role offers overall earnings of £60,000 including overtime, with a basic salary of £40,000 to £46,000. Benefits include a company car/van, overtime, commission, pension, 25 days holiday plus 8 public holidays, a tablet and smartphone, a fuel card, life assurance and private medical insurance.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out planned preventive maintenance, service and breakdown repair of medical systems
- Once fully trained, provide after-sales technical and commercial support
- Work within the healthcare market, offering the highest level of customer service, and completing risk assessments, activity reports and other documentation required by this highly regulated sector
Your Background
- NVQ, City & Guilds, ONC or higher in an Electrical or Electronics qualification
- Experience as a service engineer or technical support engineer on electromechanical or electronics systems
- Experience in one or more of the following sectors would be welcomed: medical systems, laboratory equipment, biomedical equipment, water purification systems, pharmaceutical devices, ex-forces engineering, electro-mechanical field service, water treatment equipment, electronics service
- A full UK driving licence
