A new business salesperson with telesales experience is sought to join a market-leading supplier of scientific and industrial instrumentation and equipment, offering world-class product training.

The Role:
We are looking for someone with a solid background in lead generation and sales, a hunter mentality who can open doors and create opportunities with prospects and lapsed customers. It will be a blend of contacting new business through leads and lapsed customers to generate and book appointments for the external field sales team.
Responsibilities and Activities:
- Daily calls to prospect to build and manage lead pipeline.
- Prospecting via cold calling, emailing, and social media networking.
- Qualify all sales leads based upon specific lead qualification criteria.
- Conduct research for target accounts and identify key contacts from the focus segments for prospecting.
- Provide weekly and monthly activity reports to management.
- Enter and update CRM and maintain CRM with lead status and progress.
- Assist Internal Sales lead qualifier Co-Ordinator as required.
- Work closely with the Field-based account managers to work towards a booked demonstration.
Your Background:
Minimum 2 years sales experience in telesales/lead generation. Proven B2B lead generation or sales experience is desirable. Ability to learn, understand, and promote technical products and software. Excellent communication skills in speaking, writing, and listening. Ability to work independently. Experience with Sales Force CRM software. An understanding of social media platforms is preferred.
