The Role – Telesales & Lead Generation Salesperson

We are looking for someone with a solid strong background in lead generation and sales, a hunter mentality who can open doors and create opportunities with prospects and lapsed customers. It will be a blend of contacting new business through leads and lapsed customers to generate & book appointments for the external field sales team.

Responsibilities and Activities

  • Daily calls to prospect to build and manage lead pipeline
  • Prospecting via cold calling, emailing, and social media networking
  • Qualify all sales leads based upon specific lead qualification criteria
  • Conduct research for target accounts and identify key contacts from the focus segments for prospecting
  • Provide weekly and monthly activity reports to management
  • Enter and update CRM and maintain CRM with lead status and progress
  • Work closely with the Field based account managers to work towards a booked demonstration

Your Background – Telesales & Lead Generation Salesperson

  • Minimum 2 years sales experience tele sales / lead generation
  • Proven B2B lead generation or sales experience – desirable
  • Ability to learn, understand and promote technical products and software
  • Excellent communication skills in speaking, writing and listening
  • Ability to work independently
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM software
  • An understanding of social media platforms – preferred
