Overview: An excellent opportunity for a marketing or sales professional with a background in semiconductor or scientific instrumentation to join a market-leading manufacturer of sophisticated semiconductor process equipment.

The Company

My client is a global leader in innovative and complex semiconductor process equipment, with cutting-edge patented technology in metrology-based industrial microscopy.

The Role

The position of Product Manager is to own the product roadmap and the company vision, understand customer use cases, and manage the interface from the customer to product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Act as the primary technical customer contact and product commitment management owner.
  2. Provide leadership and technical direction for the business/engineering team.
  3. Responsible for Market Requirements Definition for all approved development projects.
  4. Analyse market for key trends and inflection points.
  5. Define and prioritise the product roadmap.
  6. Drive revenue in response to market inflections.
  7. Manage the Product Life Cycle from introduction to End of Life (EOL).
  8. Develop value proposition, positioning, and competitive analysis.
  9. Create product sales/marketing plans and presentation materials.
  10. Evaluate customer priority to achieve business objectives.
  11. Work cross-functionally across engineering, operations, service, and sales.
  12. Manage customer acceptance requirements.
  13. Communicate effectively with global peers and customers.

  2. Understanding of complex equipment Product Life Cycles.
  3. Familiar with segmentation strategies and competitive analyses.
  4. Excellent communicator in written and oral technical English.
  5. Ability to build relationships at all levels.

  8. Tenacity in achieving objectives.
  9. Excellent analytical skills.

Your Background

To be considered for this opportunity, you must demonstrate the following:

Education / Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Sciences, Engineering, or equivalent.

Professional Skills/ Abilities:

  1. Experience in Semiconductor Industry, Atomic Force Microscopy, or Scientific Instrumentation.

Preferred:

  1. Knowledge of working with global semiconductor end-users.
