The Role - This market-leading optical group seeks to recruit a technically motivated and customer focused Medical Field Service Engineer, responsible for the planned preventative maintenance, service, breakdown and repair of leading edge fully networked electronic optical medical systems, with innovative products dedicated to a broad range of medical applications including optometry, dentistry, radiotherapy, surgical microscopy, digital visualisation, neurosurgery and gynaecology. This role is home based and will involve travelling to hospitals, healthcare centres and medical establishments throughout the region, ensuring that the highest levels of customer service are always maintained.
Your Background - Suitable candidates will need to possess a qualification in electronics, engineering or science, and have experience working as an HM Forces Engineer (REME, Navy or RAF), or an experienced Medical Engineer or Field Service Engineer, working on other high-value capital equipment. Full and extensive product training will be provided, so whatever your background in service engineering, your application will be considered.
